How To Find Us - By Bus
The excellent Sixes and Transpeak bus services all run into Duffield via the A6, a short walk away from the Pattenmakers Arms:
- The Sixes run every 15 minutes into Duffield from both
Derby and Belper (hourly in evenings, with extras on Friday and Saturday
evenings, and half-hourly on Sundays)
The Sixes also run to and from Wirksworth, Matlock, Bakewell, Heage, Ripley, Openwoodgate, and the Belper Estates (see bus timetables for times to and from these destinations) - Transpeak runs into Duffield every hour from Nottingham, Derby, Belper, Matlock, Bakewell, and Buxton. Some Transpeaks also continue to Stockport and Manchester.

Northbound buses (from Derby)
- The Sixes stop both right outside the Co-Op and also just before HSBC
- Transpeak stops outside the Co-Op only.
Southbound buses (from Belper)
- The Sixes and Transpeak stop just after Natwest Bank, opposite Golden Valley chip shop.
