Patten in the News - New equipment for rescue team

From Derby Evening Telegraph - 16th August 2008

DERBY mountain rescue team will buy new medical equipment thanks to money raised from a charity skittles match.

The event raised more than £280, which will be spent on two portable splints that are used to place a casualty's leg in traction after suffering injuries to the thigh bone.

Last week's skittles match, at the Pattenmakers Arms, in Crown Street, Duffield, involved contestants being fined for missing the pins.
